Bhairav raga

Bhairav raga is an extremely old raga. It is an Indian classical raga of Bhairav thaat. It is a sampurna raga. Bhairav raga has many variations. Some of the most popular ragas of these variation are Ahir Bhairav, Alam Bhairav, Anand Bhairav, Bairagi Bhairav, Mohini Bhairav, Nat Bhairav, Bibhas, Ramkali, Jogiya, Komal Bhairav.

Swaras: Rishabh and Dhaivat Komal. Rest All Shuddha Swaras.

Jati: Sampurna-Sampurna

Thaat: Bhairav

Vadi/Samvadi: Dhaivat/Rishabh

Time: 1st Prahar of the day (Sunrise)

Arohana : Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa

Bihag Raga

Bihag raga belongs to the Bilaval Thaat. It is very  melodious Raga. In Avroh, Rishabh and Dhaivat are not used as resting notes however they are used in Meend. In this Raag, Nishad is a prominent note and Aalaps or Taans are generally started from this note.

Swaras: Rishabh and Dhaivat forbidden in Aaroh, Both Madhyam. Rest all Shuddha Swaras.

Vadi/Samvadi : Gandhar/Nishad

Arohana: Ni Sa Ga ma Pa Ni Sa

Rag Bilawal

 Rag Bilawal is a basic rag in Bilawal that.  Indeed, the name of the that is derived from this rag. This rag is sometimes called Shuddha Bilawal to differentiate  it from the more popular Alhiya Bilawal. Bilawal is considerd by most musicologists to be Sampurna - Sampurna. But due to the weakness of its Ga in the arohana some are of the opinion that it should be considered Shadav - Sampurna. 

Swaras: All notes are shuddha 

Jati: Sampurna - Sampurna 

That: Bilawal 

Vadi/Samavadi: Dhaivat/Gandhar

Time: Morning (First pahar of the day)

Arohana :  Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa. 

Avrohana : Sa Ni Dha Pa Ma Ga Re Sa

Raag Bageshri

One of the popular raga Hindustani classical music is Raga Bageshri or Bageshree. It is a  raga of the late night. This raga depict the emotion of a woman waiting for reunion with her lover. It is said that the celebrated court singer Miyan Tansen of the Emperor Akbar in the sixteenth century first sung this raga.

Swaras: Pancham Varjya (Forbidden) in Aaroh. Gandhar and Nishad Komal. Rest all notes are Shuddha

Vadi/ Samvadi: Ma/Sa.
